Discussion session on 'Development of national policy framework for joint partnership in the higher education sector between Bangladesh and USA' was held in BAU.

Two Discussion sessions on "Development of national policy framework for joint partnership in the higher education sector between Bangladesh and United States of America" have been held in Bangladesh Agricultural University on Saturday June 20, 2026 . The program was patronised by Honorable Vice-chancellor of BAU Professor Dr. AK Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan. Dr. Grace Mukupa, Program Analyst, U.S. Department of Homeland Security & Fulbright Specialist working with UGC has presented a keynote. Deans of different faculties, Coordinator of the Committee for Advanced Studies and Research, Students' Advisor, Institutional Directors, Registrar, Controller, and Proctor contributed in the first discussion session. After that another very interactive session was attended by native and foreign students of BAU.
Benefits, opportunities and challenges of joint degree programs and different scholarship programs for higher study in USA were discussed. The program was ended with a hope that through joint programs research and academic collaboration between Bangladesh and the United States of America will be strengthened.
