Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU)

The Department of Agricultural Extension Education at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) hosted a distinguished delegation from the Park Chung Hee School of Policy and Saemaul (PSPS), Yeungnam University, South Korea on July 12, 2026 to promote international academic and research collaboration.

The delegation included Dr. Jeong Ju Lee, Dean of PSPS and Professor of International Development and Saemaul Studies; Dr. Seok Min Yun, Vice Dean of PSPS and Professor of Special Physical Education and Ms. Jung Choon Lee, Manager of the Administrative Office of PSPS.

The visit was organized by Professor Dr. M. Asaduzzaman Sarker of the Department of Agricultural Extension Education, whose initiative facilitated this valuable academic exchange between the two institutions.

During the program, the visiting delegation met with faculty members and students to discuss opportunities for joint research, academic cooperation, and faculty and student exchange between BAU and Yeungnam University.

The delegation also paid a courtesy visit to the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of BAU Professor Dr. A K Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan. The Honorable Vice-Chancellor warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed his enthusiasm for expanding academic and research collaboration between BAU and Yeungnam University.

The visit marked an important step toward enhancing international cooperation and fostering long-term academic and research relationships between Bangladesh Agricultural University and Yeungnam University.
