Professor Dr. Peter J. Matthews met BAU VC
Professor Dr. A K Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan, Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh Agricultural University, met Professor Dr. Peter J. Matthews, Prehistory & Ethnobotany Division of the National Museum of Ethnology, Osaka, Japan, on Sunday (10 November 2024) at the Vice-Chancellor’s Office of BAU in Mymensingh. The Vice-Chancellor BAU thanked the Professor Dr. Peter J. Matthews for visiting Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh .
Both the bodies exchanged warm greetings at the inception and discussed various matters on professional interests. Participants agreed to extend mutual collaboration for the development of the variety of Colocasia and its multipurpose utilization in Bangladesh. Professor Dr. Mohammad Anwar Hossain, Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding of the BAU was also present in the meeting .
