Japanese Professor Visited BAU & Called on BAU Vice-Chancellor
Two Japanese Professor from Tokyo University of Agriculture (NoDai),Japan Professor Dr. Takaynagi and Proessor. Dr. Keiko Yoshino called on BAU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A K Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan during their visit at the Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh on Sunday 23 February 2025 at the Vice-Chancellor’s secretariat of BAU in Mymensingh.A memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between The Faculty of Agriculture, BAU and Faculty of International Agriculture and Food Studies, NoDai, Japan was signed before meeting. Professor Dr. GM Mojibar Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture was there on behalf of BAU and Professor. Dr. Keiko Yoshino was on behalf of NoDai, Japan. Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Kader and Professor Dr. Md. Rashedur Rahman, Department of Agronomy, BAU were the facilitator between two universities. The whole process was initiated by the former Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Rabbani.
During the meeting the the Japanese professor expressed his desire to extant cooperation to research activities of BAU.
